Breast, Ovarian & Cervical Cancer Screening

Our personal approach to health care for women includes evaluating each woman’s risk for developing cancer of any type, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer. During your first visit, Dr. Korostoff will assess your personal and family health history. If you have a high risk for certain cancers, like breast cancer, Dr. Korostoff may talk with you further about cancer genetic testing.

A lot of women with a family history of cancer do not carry any genetic mutations. Additionally, there are cancers other than breast and ovarian in your family which may prompt your provider to discuss your risks further.
